predestination

Predestination is a recently released English Sci fi film staring my favorite Ethan Hawke and Sarah Snook in the lead.

This is an incredibly crafted creative film which contains all the aspects of a Sci fi thriller. This predominantly deals with time travel and the twist at the end will leave you mind fucked.

The spierig brothers have done a great job with directing such a unique film.  The acting from the leads were top notch. The story is original and unique and Climax is breathtaking.

This is a treat to science fiction fans. Time travel movies can sometimes be boring with multiple loopholes and defying logics.  But this one is beautifully narrated and that makes it a must watch in my list.

My Verdict : 4.5 out of 5 stars (4.5 / 5)

One among the top ten movies in 2014!!

Guardians of galaxy is the most recent flick from marvel studio based on the comic by same name.  I had the privilege to watch it in fdfs when it released in India also I had a chance to watch it in Blu-ray yesterday.

The film starts on a sad note with a kid being taken away from his dying mother and family. But picks up pace and becomes a non stop entertainer.

The casting is perfect and each role is done with perfection. The CGI is top notch and Rocket voiced by Bradley is just another level delivering some super cool punch dialogues.

Movie is a awesome blend of sentiment romance fun comedy and to top it off the soundtrack played in awesome mix volume 1&2are just outstanding.

I never thought Bautista and Chris Pratt can pull it off when I heard the casting of this movie but I stand corrected. Chris with his comical timing just nails his role.

With superhero flicks raising the bar and standards everyday this movie comes as a surprise package and delivers. This is a must watch film because there is never a dull moment in it.

My Verdict : 5 out of 5 stars (5 / 5)

Interstellar Review – A Journey to the Unknown

Here I am  penning down my views on Interstellar, the most awaited Film of the year.

NOLAN the name which became a household name after the Dark Knight Trilogy & who took us to Dream in Epic Proportions in his movie Inception comes up with this grandiose space saga which deals with Love, sacrifice, survival of human race.

He takes us to a non stop grand journey into the unknown and keeps us glued to the screen & gives us a grand visual treat. The background score by Hans Zimmer is second best to none .

The casting was perfect and the child actress who portrays Murphy and Mathew who plays Cooper steal the show along with the Robot TARS.

The Movie throws so many scientific theories and terms which may not be grasped at the first watch by normal movie goers. But the core of the film deals with the human element, the sentiment, family bonding and true love.

Over all this movie is a awesome one with beautiful CGI and leaves the watchers speechless at the end. Some drawbacks according to me was regarding the Tesseract and Dr.Mann’s (Matt Damon) sudden intention change while being in that planet. So i had cut half of the stars for it 😀

My Verdict: 4.5 out of 5 stars (4.5 / 5)

It is a Must Watch for SCI FI fans
