Years ago Cricket was labelled as the gentleman’s game, may be it was right because at that time glamour and cricket were like opposite poles. Over the time, playing technique as well as the trends kept changing. Nowadays cricket is no more just a gentleman’s game but it has become more stylish and glamorous one. With the changing mindset, players also start engaging in off the field activities which offers monetary benefits such as signing for TV commercials, brand ambassadors etc. So, the game as well as the players got more trendy and stylish.

From flaunting flat abs to changing cool hair styles, fashion has evolved leaps and bounds in cricket. Gone are the days when cricketers dint care about their external appearance. Now everyone carries a personal grooming assistant along with them. Owing to the world wide exposure through media & social media, they have become more and more fashion conscious.

In the race to stay fit and healthy to knock the doors for national team selections more than 90% of cricketers focus on diets and hit the gym to get a Greek god physique.

When most men think facial hairs are too much to handle, some cricketers are going to an extent to make styles out of it which might take half a day to emulate it.

Even our very own cricket super stars aren’t shying away from sporting new styles and making a statement.

No wonder Bollywood sensation Anushka Sharma is in love with him 🙂

As being stylish can get many fans as well as PRs running behind them to do advertisement for brands, new breed of cricketers are enhancing their fashion statement up a notch than what used to be years ago !!

This definitely proves Cricketers has becomes more and more fashion conscious over the years !!
