Let’s DO the right !!

Sharing is Caring !!
India is the most inhabited democracy within the world consisting of twenty nine states and seven union territories with population of over 1.2 billion folks. The sheer size of the population poses varied threats to even basic development. Education is the most simple demand of economic development that has been recognized around the world and is one among the aspects that encompasses a profound impact on our country.
Living in a fast paced world, most of us tend to be more selfish and forget about others and their sufferings. Even though we show moist eyes when we hear about illiteracy and people living below poverty line, we forget it in a short span and carry on with our lives. But there are some people who turn their life into a candle to put light in others life. One such real hero of our nation was Ajeet Singh from Varanasi. He started the Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) Guria which rescued minor girls from child trafficking and prostitution.
Varanasi being one of the ancient cities in the world and a spiritual hub of India is the ultimate destination for many people to wash away their sins in the River Ganges. Unfortunately these river banks also harbors many kids who wander aimlessly begging and indulging in petty trades to fill their stomach. In order to help these poor souls and show them a good path in life, Ajeet Singh started the ‘Boat School‘ Initiative. This is really a stepping stone in our course to eradicate illiteracy from India. This enables the strayed children to spend two hours regularly everyday to study, play or revise without any pressures or tensions. This initiative has a lot of potential and as the seeds are already laid out all it needs is a magical transformation which will enhance the learning atmosphere and make them inspire the millions around the world and can also help spread the initiative across the globe so illiteracy can be kicked out of the world.

Lets hear it from the children themselves what kind of transformation they want in the existing Boat school in the below video !!

As they suggested, starting with the a complete makeover of interiors including renovations and repairs which make it more like a place of study is of prime importance. Additionally providing them the necessary facilities like a library, educational toys, stationery, computers, painting kits, new books and spending time together we can create an ideal learning environment for these children.

This Magical Transformation can only be possible with our donations !! So lets join the journey of doing right and donate a bit of what we earn and create a magic in the life for these children !!
